Does any have any knowledge of these tractors. I went to a Kioti dealer to look at the LB1914 and saw the AGCO and it looked pretty good and the specs seem to match well to the LB1914 . They are lighter but faster and have more pto hp The turning radius is tighter too. The dealer said that the AGCO was hardly ever in for warrenty work. But they say that about every brand they sell. Any input would be great. Thanks Jim

AGCO compacts are the same as the Massey which are made by Iseki. Massey is part of Agco. They are a comparable tractor to the rest, they have a number of different models. You need to reference the model as each tractor line has its hits and misses. The new Kioti CK-20 would be something that is also a little bigger than the 1914.

If you like the Iseki tractors but do not like Agco orange or Massey red,you can also get it in Cat yellow!! They are good dependable tractors. I've heard recently that the prices are now much better on them too!! ....

Thanks for the reply, The AGCO I was looking at was the ST125. I like the CK20 also but know one has them in and it,s hard to judge from the pictures but they sure look nice. I was told that 1914 was not the best choice for mowing because it does not have a live pto so the blade would stop when you pushed in the clutch to slow down for turns and such. And that CK20 was designed more for mowing. The Kioti seems like they are built better then the AGCO. the handles and knobs seem more sturdy. They also weigh 500lb's more. But on the other hand the AGCO has more HP to start with(22) and ends up with more at the PTO(18.4)compared to the CK20 which starts with 19hp and ends up with 14 at the PTO. It's getting confusing ....

Yes,sometimes it does get quite overwhelming to say the least!!

So now I'll throw this into the mix: Have you checked out the other Korean offerings yet? Mahindra,Century/Branson,Long,TAFE all have good tractors. I like the Mahindras(TYM),then the Century/Bransons the best myself ....

Say it ain't so, no wonder ther ia discussion board like this one, which is the most informatve group I'm on.I think what I'm gonna due is limit myself to tractors that have a dealership that is reasoably close so I can give them the business instead of someone I can't look in the eye to see if their are Bs'in me.But I will check Those other brands out to see how close the are. I tell ya what I have learned more about tractors in two months then I thought there was to know. ....

Well then be sure and report back!! The biggest mistake made by a lot of tractor purchasers is over looking the other smaller independant brands out there no matter what size you are looking for. ....

Just to stirr the pot a little, my experience with the Masseys CUT is that the HP is a little exagerated at least in the 1240 I brought home for a test.
I like the Kioti for a Korean tractor as they are now direct to the manufacture. They produce like the Japanese units, all the major components and have their own distribution system in the US. Malhindras are Korean and Indian tractors. I do like some, but they are the larger ones which are the same as the older IH, which was an excellent tractor for its day.
Personally I would wait and see about the CK-20, someone on the board saw them and got a price. Search under CK-20.

I think I will wait for the CK20. But in the mean time I will look at the NH's.I'm thinking that I will make up my mind the end of this month. It's amazeing that anyone ever buys a tractor with all the choices out there. Maybe because this is my first time and I don't have any first hand knowledge.

The poliferation of the species is remarkable. When I bought my first there was only 6 or 7 brands in the CUT now there must be double that. ....
